Lutheran Women
The regular monthly meeting
of the United Lutheran Church
Women of St. Peter's Church,
Zurich, was held in the church
basement, on Tuesday evening,
October 17, "The Race that Re-
fused to Vanish" was the topic
presented by Mrs. Keith Thiel
and Mrs. Reg. Black. An In-
dian version of the 23rd Psalm
was read, which proved most
interesting together with an ex-
planation of how it came into
being.
Mrs. Milford Doerr offered
prayer on behalf of Missions.

lowing the farmers to accomp-
lish a great deal of farm work.
It is however, hampering plow-
ing in some areas as the ground
is hard.
Some areas in Goderich Town-
ship are concerned about well
water supply.
Beef cattle are making excel-
lent gain on grass.
