Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jones and
Boys visited recently with Mr. and
Mrs- Earl Deichert, of Zurich,
Mr. Robert McLean called recen-
tly on Mr, William Slavin, of Lon-
don.
Mrs. A. Louwe, of Alkmaar, Hol-
land, who has visited the past mon-
th with her brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Nivk Blom and
other relatives, is returnindg to
Holland later in the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Faber and
Diane, accompanied by Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Penhale and Ricky, of
Bayfield, were Sunday visitors
with Mrs. Elizabeth Oesch, of
Blake.
Mr. and Mrs. David Moyer and
Adele, of Parry Sound, spent the
weekend with the latter's father,
Mr. Robert Thom, and other rela-
tives.
The Faber families held a sur-
prise miscellaneous shower Satur-
day evening at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Emerson Coleman, of Sea -
forth, for Russell Faber and his
bride-to-be, Miss Anita Menard, of
Grand Bend.
Entertainment for the evening
consisted of a reading, contests and
euchre. The gifts were presented
by Linda Coleman, Bobby Coleman
and Patsy Faber.
Russell and Anita made a suit-
able reply. A delicious lunch was
served. Those attending from a
distance were Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Menard, Grand Bend, parents of
the bride-to-be, and Mrs. Frank
Bean, of Hensall.
WEDDINGS
Beaver - Bell.
Carmel Presbyterian Church,
Hensall, was the setting for the
wedding of Elizabeth Ann Bell and
Robert Eugene Beaver. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold C. Bell, RR 2, Hensall, and
the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Orval Beaver, RR 1, Hensall.
Rev, Leslie Elder, of Seaforth,
performed, the ceremony and trad
itional wedding music was played
by Mrs. Malcolm Dougall.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a floor -length
gown of Chantilly lace and nylon
tulle, fitted bodice, sabrina neck-
line embroidered in iridescent se-
quins,
pointsleeves
of lace skirt
f
nylon tulle. A crown of seed
pearls held her fingertip veil and
she carried a bouquet of pink roses.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Ron-
ald C. Passmore, London, sister of
the bride, who wore a mauve
street -length dress of net over silk.
She carried a bouquet of white
and mauve carnations.
Lloyd Beaver, Dashwood, was
groomsman for his brother, and
ushers were Donald E. Bell, Exe-
ter, and Gary Beaver, Hensall.
Following a reception held in the
Dominion Hotel, Zurich, the couple
left for a wedding trip to Niagara
Falls. The bride chose a green and
white stroller suit with white and
green accessories and corsage of
white caranations.
On their return Mr. and Mrs
Beaver will reside near Hensall.

Hildebrant rant -
Cornwall

Wedding vows were exchanged
by Virginia Joan Cornwall and Mar-
lin Wayne Hildebrant, of London,
before the Rev. D. J. Firth, Ham-
ilton Road Presbyterian Church,
London, April 21.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Francis Cornwall, London,
and the groom is the son of Mrs.
Mary Hildebrant, Hensall, and the
late Alex Hildebrant,
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a street length
gown of white organza over taffeta.
Her shoulder length veil of French
illusion was caught to a crown of
seed pearls and sequins, and she
carried a bridal bouquet of red and
and white 'mums and carnations.
Matron of honour Mrs. Norman.
Mattson, Hensall, sister of the
groom, and bridesmaid, Mrs. Joe
Nowasad, London, and ° junior
bridesmaid, Miss Jaqueline Corn-
wall, London, sister of the groom,
were gowned identically in blue or-
ganza over taffeta with matching
feather bander and carried bou-
quets of white and pink carana-
tions.
Norman Mattson, of Hensall, at-
tended the groom and Michael Mc -
Mann and Robert Cornwall, Lon-
don, ushered guests.
The reception for 50 guests was
held at the Red Barn in London.

matching duster and beige acces-
sories. Roth wore corsages of
white carantions.
For travelling to Niagara Falls

and the United States the bride
changed to a blue suit with acces-
sories in beige, with which she
wore a corsage of red and white
carnations. They will reside in
London.

ficient staff if and when it is needed. In view of this, the Corporation is requesting your co-operation
