No. 1—TENDERS are called for the Spraying of Cattle in Hay
Township on a price per head basis; also on an hourly
rate. Township to supply powder only.
No. 2—TENDERS are called for the supply of Warbicide Powder
as needed. Tender to state price of 15 Ib. bags and 1 Ib.
bags delivered at Zurich.
No. 3—APPLICATIONS are asked for the position of Inspector
to supervise the treatment of cattle for Warbje FIy. In-
spectors must keep accurate account of cattle sprayed or
brushed, name of owner, lot No. and Concession, etc.
Payment will be made upon presentation of a completed
report. Applicants to state hourly rate and mileage ex-
pected.
All work must conform with the provisions of the Warble -
Fly Act and amendments thereto.
Tenders and applications to be in the hands of the Clerk
by Saturday, March 4th at 6:00 p.m.
Lowest or any tender or application not necessarily accepted.

VARNA NEWS
The World's Day of Prayer will
be held in the United Church on
Friday afternoon of this week.
Annual Meeting
The congregation of the United
Church held their annual meeting
last Tuesday evening. It was pro-
ceeded by a supper served in the
basement of the Church,
After the supper the members
assembled upstairs, with the pas-
tor, Rev. T. J. Pitt, in the chair,
Excellent reports were heard from
the WA, WMS, YPU, Sunday School
and other organizations of the
church.
The officials of the church for
1961 are as follows. Elders, John

A group of young people from
the YFL attended a YPU Rally at
Crediton on Sunday evening last.
Twelve teachers from the United
Church Sunday School attended a
workshop at Main Street United
Church, in Exeter, on Thursday ev-
ening of last week.
A meeting of Stanley District
LOL was held in the Orange Hall
last Friday evening. Visitors were
present from Clinton, Seaforth,
Woodham and Greenway.

conform with the terms of the Warble Fly Act.

the Township shed in Varna.
