High School Board
Rated By Teachers
South Huron District High
School board received favorable
rating from the members of the
teaching staff in a resent survey
conducted throughout schools in
Ontario.
The findings resulted from a
questionnaire that was distributed
by the Ontario Secondary School
Teachers' Federation. The results
were published by Toronto news-
papers last week.
The local board was among
several who received an "excel-
lent" rating concerning the rela-
tionship between board and staff,
The number of boards rated as
excellent was close to 40 percent.
while those rated as unsatisfactory
were less than ten percent.
In the question concerning the
attitude toward educational im-
provement the SHDHS staff rated
their board as `good". Working
conditions in the school were ra-
ted "excellent."
Of all the area school boards lis-
ted in the survey, Wingham was
the only one to get an excellent
rating in all categories. London
received a similar rating.

In loving memory of a clear fabler
and grandfather, Bruce Koehler,
who passed away suddenly on
December 30, 1958:
This month comes with deep re-
gret
It brings back a day we will nev-
er forget,
He fell asleep without good-bye
But our memory of him will nev-
er die,
What we would give if we could
say
Hello Dad, in the same old way,
To hear his voice and see him
smile
To sit with him and chat a while,
-Ever remembered by his wife,
Pearl, and family, also by his
mother. 1-b
