T. R. Jones, Toronto, delivered the keynote address of the conven- tion on Sunday afternoon, on the subject, `Is God Interested in the Affairs of Men," which was heard by 669 persons. Another highlight of the week- end was the Saturday morning field service in which over 100 took part. High School Board Rated By Teachers South Huron District High School board received favorable rating from the members of the teaching staff in a resent survey conducted throughout schools in Ontario. The findings resulted from a questionnaire that was distributed by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation. The results were published by Toronto news- papers last week. The local board was among several who received an "excel- lent" rating concerning the rela- tionship between board and staff, The number of boards rated as excellent was close to 40 percent. while those rated as unsatisfactory were less than ten percent. In the question concerning the attitude toward educational im- provement the SHDHS staff rated their board as `good". Working conditions in the school were ra- ted "excellent." Of all the area school boards lis- ted in the survey, Wingham was the only one to get an excellent rating in all categories.
