Little Carolyn Hartman, of Ste-
phen Township, spent a couple of
days with her grandmother, Mrs,
T. Hartman, while her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Hartman, spent
New Years in Belle River, with Mr.
and Mrs. Girard.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gelinas, of
London, spent New Years at the
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schilbe and
family, of London, were visitors
during the holiday at the home of
Mr, and Mrs. Milfred Schilbe.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Craig and
Nancy, of Toronto, were Wednes-
day visitors with Mrs. Nancy Koeh-
ler, who returned to the city with
them.
Mrs. Mary Manson, Robert Man-
son and John Geiger, were at Tor-
onto for a few days visiting with
Donald Manson and family, Mrs.
Nancy Koehler returned with them
on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Desjardine
accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Toni
Meyers to Port Colborne, Oshawa
and Streetsville for Christmas, and
spent the holiday season with their
daughters, Grace, Doris and Alpha.

rans Rehabilitation Centre Hospi-
tal, at Downsview, spent Christmas
week and New Years with his wife
and family. Some time ago Mr.
Verbeek injured his back while
employed at the W. G, Thompson
hill, in Hensall.
Miss Dianne Vail, of London,
spent the Christmas holidays with
her friend, Miss Katherine Mc-
Gregor.

tertained to a family dinner on
New Year's day.
Mr. and Mrs. John Frazier, of

Year's day with the former's aunt

Don Kyle has returned to Cal-
gary last Tuesday by plane, after
spending the holiday with his wife
and family at the home of his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmerson Kyle
in Kippen, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Thiel in Zurich. Mrs. Kyle and
daughter will be leaving for Cal-
gary on January 21.

Vernon Stewart, son of Mrs, Allen
Finkbeiner, RR 2, Crediton, on Sat-
urday, December 17, at 2.30 p.m.
Rev. A. M. Schlenker, Crediton,
assisted by Rev. A. Martin, Zurich,
performed the ceremony and Mrs.
Emery Fahrner, Crediton, played
the wedding music and accompan-
ied the soloist, Rev. Glen Strome,
who sang "Wedding Prayer" and
"0 Perfect Love."
Given in marriage by her father
the bride chose a white waltz -len-
gth gown of Chantilly lace and net
fashioned with fitted bodice with
sweetheart neckline. The full sk-
irt was of small ruffled tiers o f
nylon net, H e r shoulder -length
veil of illusion net was caught to
a coronet of sequins. She carried
a white Bible crested with a white
gardenia a n d pink Sweetheart
roses, fern and streamers.
Miss Judy Finkbeiner, sister of
the groom, as maid of honour, and
Miss Olive Martin, Bayfield, as
bridesmaid were gowned alike in
mauve nylon net with matching
feather headdress. They carried
white carnations with mauve lace
and white ribbon.
Ross Wein, RR 2, Crediton, was
best man and Ralph Finkbeiner
of Crediton and Eugene Bender,
of Varna, ushered.
A reception was held in the ch-
urch room where the bride's moth-
er received in a sheath of plum -
colored crepe with waist jacket,
black and white accesories and a
corsage of mauve poms and white
carnations. The groom's mother
assisted in a pure silk printed sh-
eath in plum and mauve tones
with bolero jacket and plum acc-
esories, and a corsage o f white
pom-poms and carnations,
For travelling the bride chang-
ed to a loden green wool basic
sheath dress with matching acces-
ories, grey fur jacket and Sweet-
heart rose corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Finkbeiner will
resside in Hensall where the gr-
oom is employed with Cook Bros.

iture first prize, an occassional
chair was taken home by Miss Mar-

Mrs. Pat Sullivan won a rug for
third prize.
At Hess Jewellery, Mrs. Don
O'Brien walked off with the prize
wrist watch.

Gingerich's Sales and Service. A
