Winter Here At time of writing the weather is winter like, cold, and the ground fairly well covered with snow. If the snow remains on the ground it will mean a long winter, for we are still in the fall season, Christmas day, with all it's gaiety and good wishes extended to one another, as well as gifts presented to satisfy the heart and mind, is fast approaching again. For those who have been spared since the last one, to witness it's corning, should be thankful, not for the corning of another Christ- mas day, but for the many privil- ages accorded them during the passing years. Christmas day is noted for the extending of good wishes to all we entlellemermereweee R M E, Correspondent) come in contact with, regardless of any ill feeling, should they exist among our fellow men. If such should be, it is a time when all grievences should be put aside, and practice peace and harmony to bring about peace in our minds. Traditionally, it is a time when families gather together for the day after they have attended their place of worship, Children will gather at their par- ents home to partake of a well prepared meal by the mother, os as the case may be. All that brings happiness in the hone, and all that takes root in a home for children of a tender age. From year to year they cultivate in their minds the true meaning of Christmas day. Christmas is a clay set aside by civil and Christian authorities of both governing bodies. They have one thing in mind, that the public should co-operate with them in a Christian -like way, by keeping the orders of warning given by those in power to avoid accidents, or loss of life or property, which could well near the expected joy of a Christmas day.
