Strong Exeter Team
Tied By Juveniles
In Rough Game
The Zurich Lions Juveniles tied
the highly rated Exeter Juveniles,
4.4 last Friday night in Exeter.
The return game is being played
this Friday night in Hensall.
After scoring the first goal of
the game early in the first period,
the locals saw Exeter come back
strong with four goals in a row,
to take a 4-1 lead. Wayne Willert
scored the first goal for Zurich.
At the 6.35 mark in the second,
Gerard Overholt scored on a
beautiful passing play with Larry
Bedard, to bring the Zurich crew
right back in the game. Bob John-
ston scored from Wayne Willert
one minute later, and then Earl

Wagner cashed in on a pass from
his brother, Bill, at the 9.30 mark.
Neither team could score in the
third period, or in the overtime.
Many spectacular saves by Am-
acher in the Zurich nets saved the
locals from sufferering a defeat.
A total of 16 penalties were han-
ded out in the free -wheeling game,
with nine going to Zurich and sev-
en to Exeter. Bill Wagner led the
parade with three trips to the sin -
bin.
