PAGE SIX WEDDINGS Rowe - Richardson Audrey Ruth Richardson and Wi1liann John Rowe exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. R. S. Winlaw in a setting of bas- kets of bronze and yellow gladioli at Hensall United Church Satur- day, October 1, at 2 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Richardson, of RR 1, Zurich, and the groom, of Exeter, is a son of Mr, and Mrs. Harold Rowe, RR 1, Woodham. Mr. Ross Rowe, RR 1, Woodham, brother of the groom, provided wedding music. The bride was gowned in a floor -length wedding gown. of organza and Chantily lace. The bodice introduced a scalloped sab- ring neckline etched with aurora borealis sequins, long lily -point sleeves and a dropped waist also adorned with Chantilly lace and sequins. The princess line skirt made way for the bouffant folds of the shirt. The bride wore a French pure silk illusion veil caught up by a crown of sequins, seed pearls and pearled tear drops. She carried a cascade of bronze 'mums and yellow roses with a background of ivy, Mrs. Robert Bell, RR 1, Kippen, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. gowned in is street -length gold crystal charm sheath dress with overskirt. She carried a nose- gay ' of yellow and bronze 'mums with a background of ferns. Flower girl was Miss Linda Bell, RR 1. Kippen, niece of the bride, frocked in gold colored crystal c iarm with matching headdress. She carried a small nosegay of yellow 'mums. Wayne Rowe, RR 1, Woodham, brother of the groom, was best roan. For receiving the sixty guests at the home of the bride's par- ents decorated in pink and white motif, the bride's mother wore a dark green mottled tweed sheath dress with matching accessories. The mother of the groom chose a rust brocade sheath dress. Both v.'ore corsages of bronze roses, Tea room attendants were Miss Bernice Strang, Miss Rosemary Smith, Miss Betty Fletcher and Miss Pauline Dixon, all of Exeter. For their wedding trip to North- ern Ontario, the bride travelled in imported classic wool tweed sheath in grey and copper tones, under a black Persian lamb jacket with platinum mink collar. The young couple will reside in Exeter. Guests were present from Port Huron, Windsor, London, Tillson- burg, Woodham, Exeter, Zurich, Kippen and Hensel]. Given in marriage by her grand- father, Mr. Lynn Evans of Cran- brook, the bride wore a bridal gown of floor length of silk organza over bridal taffeta graced with appliques of guipure lace. The bodice was styled with short sleeves, matching glove and scoop neckline, featuring an empire band of softly pleated organza held at the back by two flying panels to a brush train. Flower girl Miss Cheryl McCutcheon, was frocked in yellow pure silk organza over taffeta with scalloped neckline featuring a bow at the back, matching accessories, and cascade of white and yellow baby mums. Master Blaine McCutcheon was ring bearer and carried the rings on a white velvet pillow trimmed with red satin, William Consitt, Zurich was his brother's groomsman, and Gary Evans, of Cranbrook, brother of the bride, and John Consitt, Zur- ich, brother of the groom, ushered guests. For the wedding reception at Crankbrook Community Centre, decorated with white and yellow chrysanthemums and white candle- abra, the bride's mother received the guests wearing a gown of reel velvet, accessories in black, with corsage of baby white roses. The groom's mother chose an ice green of Loden brocade dress with matching accessories, with which she wore a corsage of bronze chalice roses. The wedding dinner was arran- ged by the Ladies' Aid of the church and tea room attendants were the Misses Patsy .and Carol Bryans, Linda Dunn, Marion, Joan, and Ruth Turner, For travellig to Eastern Ontario for their honeymoon, the bride donned a beige walking suit with dark brown and green accessories. Her corsage was bronze chalice roses. They will reside in Varna.
