He also has a brother, Thomas Robinson, Eg- mondville, and ten grandchildren. He was born on the farm where he now resides on September 13, 1880. The farm has always been in the Robinson name since it was originally obtained from the Can- ada Company by his grandfather, Thomas Robinson, in 1845. At the time of his death it passed to Ri- chard's father, Edward Robinson. Mr. Robinson spent a few years at Carlyle, Saskatchewan, but most of his life has been spent in Stanley Township. His wife, the former Ethel Emmerson, is a na- tive of McGregor, Manitoba. Attending the Tuesday night fete were his family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hayter and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson, London; Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson, Stan- ley; Mr. Thomas Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Elmore Stephenson and family, Egmondville. Gifts were presented by the fa- mily and included a television set. During the evening musical num- bers by various members of the family were enjoyed. Included with lunch was a birthday cake made especially for the occasion.
