THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1960
Congratui
tions
We would like to add our congratulations, on top of the many
that are being expressed in this issue, to Mr, and Mrs. Ernie Laid-
law, on the opening of their Zurich Bowling Lanes. Many .hours of
hard work and worry have gone into this project, and we know
they must feel proud on the eve of their grand opening.
While the sport of bowling is comparatively new to many in
this district, we are sure it will be only a matter of time until that
craze hits everyone. The fact that all the leagues are already filled
with teams is a strong indication of how popular the recitation
centre will be in this area.
The tackling of a project such as this has been a large under-
taking for this energetic couple, and they deserve the whole -heart-
ed support of everyone in the community.
