Sympathy is extended from the
neighbors and friends of Mr. and
Mrs, Frank Wright and family, in
the sudden passing away of a moth-
er, the late Mrs. James Wright.
Mr. Norman Long was admitted
on Friday to St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, in the interest of his
health.

At the Williams Reunion held
at Riverview Park, Exeter, on July
31. Miss Janet Doig ate off of the
"Marked Plate" winning a beau-
tiful decorated cake plate edged
in 22 Karet gold.

outbreak was seen last Wednesday,
as a two-year-old steer in the Kip -
pen area, was found to have died
from the disease.

Rev. Father L J. Poisson. The bride is Madeline, daughter of Mr.

been reported in the area for some
time, the fact that the animal has
been diagnosed as rabid, suggests
the need for continued caution. Dr.
J. C. MacLennan, health .of ani-
mals branch, Seaforth, warned.
The steer is believed to have
been infected as a result of con-
tact with wild life. The animal was
at pasture when stricken,
