Miles Agricultural Representative, for Huron County, Two days of fairly warns and dry weather with bright skies has brought the spring grain along very quickly. There doesn't ap- pear to be much damage from the seven days of wet weather where drainage is good. There will be some drowning of seeds in wet, low areas. In gener- al the 75 per cent completed seed- ing of spring sown grains are look- ing good. Some people were working on the land on May 16, but rains of May 17 will curtail seeding opera- tions for a period of time. Early planted turnips are suf- fering because of flies and inabil- ity to spray. Peas and sugar beets are slow in coming through the ground. Pastures are making fair progress.
