Zurich Citizens News, 1960-02-17, Page 8PAGE EIGHT Bob Johnston Leads Scoring On Lions Juvenile Hockey Team With the regular schedule for the Zurich Lions Juveniles com- pleted, centre ice star Bob John- ston is out in front in the scor- ing race with a total of 41 points. His total is made up of 21 goals and 20 assists. In second place in the race is Wayne Willert, a line -mate of Johnston, with 35 points made up of 15 goals and 20 assists. In third is Gerard Overholt, the third member of the high scoring front line of the Juvenile team. Overholt has 34 points, made up of 16 goals and 18 assists. Oddly enough the player who is leading the scoring race is the most gentleman pilayer on the team, for the amount of time he is on the ice. In 11 games Bob Johnston has failed to draw a sin- gle penalty. He is a strong be- liever in the old saying "you can't win games in the penalty box." The two bad men on the team are defenceman Murray Bell and forward Earl Wagner, Bell has 14 minutes in penalty time, while Wagner has had 13 minutes. Complete statistics are: Player GP G A Pts.
