Oddly enough, the team's top scorer, Bab Johnston, failed to pick up a single scoring point in the one-sided contest. The two teams battled on fairly even terms in the first period, un- til Earl Wagner scored with only 30 seconds remaining. Over'. tife junioir sailors. In the first half of the twin -bill the Zurich Bantams were trounc- ed 12-0. Earl • Wagner and Wayne Wil- lert led the locals to their victory, each scoring two goals. Bob John- ston, who had gone scoreless in the last game, got back on the score sheet with one goal and two assists. Gerard Overholt also had three assists in the game. Two unassisted goals by Earl Wagner midway through the first period, and another by Wayne Willert at the 18.25 mark, gave Zurich a 3-0 lead at the end of the first. ;In the second stanza Goderich came back strong with markers by Hoy and Laithwaite, and for a while it looked like they were go- ing to tie the game up. However, in the third Bob John- ston scored early, at the 4.44 mark, to again give the locals a two -goal lead. At the 13.13 mark, Wayne Willert added an insurance goal, on a pass from Gerard Over- holt and Bob Johnston. Bowler scored the final Goderich goal at the 18.32 point of the third per- iod. Only one penalty was called in the cleanly -played contest, that to Wayne Willert, of Zurich, for hol- ding. A large number of fans from Zurich attended the game. Zurich --goal, Dennis.
