The two counties last November 30 in a federal plebiscite voted strongly in favour oaf ending pro- hibition. Huron County has been dry since April 28, 1914, and Perth County since September 1, 1915. After the vote, Col. C. E. Wood- row, solicitor for the Ontario Li- quor Control Board, said prohibi- tion would remain in effect until the necessary orders -in -council had been approved by the feder- al cabinet and signed by Gover- nor-General Vanier. When the final order is signed by Governor-General Vanier, the two counties will come under the Liquor Licence Act, provincial legislation.
