Webb Reunion At Crediton On New Year's Day On January 1, 1960, 63 mem- bers of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Webb gathered at the Crediton Community Cen- tre, for their annual New Year's Day celebration, which has been held on this day for over 40 years. A delicious turkey dinner at noon and cold turkey supper at night was enjoyed by all. President Lloyd Lamport presi- ded for the election of officers for the coming year. Officers elected were: president, Mervyn Webb; vice-president, Arnold Geiser; sec- retary -treasurer, Dwayne McLin- ohey; those to pour tea, Milton Webb, Stewart Webb, Don Zav- alney; program committee, Ted and Eleanor Webb, Morris and Kay Webb. Relatives were there from Grand Bend, Dashwood, Zurich, Crediton, Parkhill, Petrolia, Port Huron and Detroit.
