Common garden sage brewed into a
heavy tea with sulphur added, -will turn
gray, streaked and faded hair beautifully
dark and luxuriant. Just a few applica-

is fading, streaked or gray. Mixing the

though, is troublesome. An easier way is

sinful, we all desire to retain our youth-
ful appearance and attractiveness. By
darkening your hair with WVyeth's Sage
and Sulphur Compound, no one can tell,
because it does it so naturally, so evenly.
You just dampen a sponge or soft brush
with it and draw this through your hair,
taking one small strand at a time; by
morning all gray hairs have disappeared,
and, after another application or two,
your hair becomes beautifully bark,
glossy, soft and luxuriant.
This preparation is a delightful toilet
requisite and is not intended for the cure,
mitigation or prevention of disease.

et Me Help You Carry the
Burden, Mother"
"If Canada fails us in October, we must curtail many of our activities."
Sir ARTHUR STANLEY, Chairman, Executive Committee, British Red Cross,
It now costs $300,000.00 a week to carry on the work of the British Red Cross, or
$16,000,000.00 a year. s
Every minute of the day and night it costs $30 to minister to the sick and wounded
and dying.
Last year Ontario's magnificent contribution paid for the entire work of the British Red
Cross for nearly six weeks. _
This year, is view of the greater need, it is earnestly and confidently hoped that Ontario's
contributions will be as great proportionately as the magnificent offering of last year. ,t3.
Our trust is, that the Citizens of Ontario will give generously 'to this noble cause on— %*
