PRANG ZURICH TWO DROWNED NEAR AUB- URN. Two lives were lost, one in a futile attempt at rescue, in a small creek running through the Govier farm, two miles from Aub- urn, on Saturday afternoon. The dead are Mrs. H. Govier and Elsie Lockhart, 11 -year -ole daughter of Thomas Lockart of Auburn. In company with f our others, Elsie Lockhart, who was visiting at the Govier home, went to the creek to ba`he. It is bel'eve9 that she slip- ped into a deep hole 31nd went down without a sound. When the other children left the water they noticed the )absence of E1s'.e, and ran frantically to the farm- house for Mrs. Govier, Mrs. Gov- ier ran to the icr: e'.;, and, fully dreg sed; dashed into the wafer'ni an ef fort to find the missing child. She too, fell into one of the many treacherous holes in the stream, was drowned.
