THE MERCHANTS OF ZURICH, DASHW OOD, BLAKE AND

• UCH ABUSED TWELVE MONTH'S CREDIT SYSTEM, WHICH
HAS BECOME A NUISANCE IN THE BUSINESS WORLD OF TO-
DAY., YEARS AGO WHEN THEFARIVIERS HAD NO OTHER
MAhXET. FOR THEIR PRODUCEBUT THE STORES, THE SYSTEM
COULD BE WORKED IN A FAIRLY SATISFACTORY MANNER,
BUT TO -DAY, WHEN THE FARMER CAN SELL EVERYTHING HE

THE SYSTEM HAS FALLEN DOWN BADLY, AS THE MERCHANT
GENERALLY IS MINU3 'IHE PRODUCE AND HAS TO CHARGE
THE PURCHASES MADE AT HIS STORE FOR 12 MONTHS OR
MORE. , ' '
MANY OTHER TJNFAIR INSTANCES OF THE ABUSE OF THE
LONG CREDIT SYSTEM MIGHT BE QUOTED. TO OVERCOME

ARE NOT SETTLED IN THE THIRTY DAYS INTEREST WILL
BE CHARGED FROM THE DATEWHEN THE ACCOUNT WAS DUE;
THE SYSTEM SHOULD WORK OUT SATISFACTORILY BOTH TO

IT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED THAT THE PRODUCER CAN
SELL ALL ,ISIS PRODUCTS FOR CASH, HE DOES NOT HAVE TO
WATT SIX, EIGHT, TWELVE OR MORE MONTHS FOR HIS MON-
