By instructions of the Hon, bfin-
ister of Agriculture a distribution;
of superior sorts of grain and pot-
atoes will be trade during the com-
ing winter and spring to Canada
farmers . The samples for gener-
al distritel Jon w i.l cogsist of rpe-
ing wheat, about 5 pound,; white
oats, about i lbs; barley, about 5
lbs + and field peas, about albs;
There will be sent out from Ot-
tawa. A d;stributican of potatoes
in samples of about 31be, will be
carried on for several of the ex-
perimental farm, the Centra),
Farm at Ottawa supplying only
the Provinces of Ontario and Clue -
ben. All samples `Evill be sent
free by lsnaii,
Only -one sample of grain and
one of potatoes can be sent to each
Wm. As the supply of seed is
limited, farmers are a lvised to ap-

sed away on Saturday last, in the
person of Wendel Brunner, at an
advanced age. Deceased had be
en arresident of this village for
