After an illness lasting metny,
months, Mrs. Henry Ortwein pas-
sed away at her homo here on,Sat-
urday in her b7Lh year. Foe about
a !year deceased had been in fail
mg dieaitn ,and a.inougn nut sui.-
iernig much pain was bed -fast for
snood of ,Lnat dime. She bore her
sufferings with Christian eourege
and fortitude. Her hue band. pre-
deceased her iabouz five years ago.
Deceased was twice married and
a number of children by the first
marriage ,survive her.
The iuneral was held on Tues-
day, interment taking place in the
Bronson Liue cemetery. Rev. F.
B. Meyers conducted the services
at the house and graveside, and
was assisted in church by Rev. Mr.
Meyer of Dashwood and Mr. H.
Troyer of Toronto.
Among the relatives who attend-
ed the iuneral from a distance were

Mr, and Mrs. Ey. Soldan and Mr.
Thera Teitz .01 Pigeon, Mich., Mr.
