After dinner a short. program was. given which consisted of addresses by Rev Grensebacb, Rev Jefferson and Major Iieaman, Miss oestrioher revd- erect a solo and also several patriotic quartettes were given by others, .head- ings were given by Miss Ida Routledge and Miss Wurtz, while the Crediton Band furnished the music for the en- tire day. The stores and business places' were closed from 11 .to 2 and everything was done to entertain the boys in Khaki, and the people will always re- member them with a deep affection,, The eatables remaining frons.he dinner were sold and the proceed:40re given to the Red Cross Fund.
