The death was announced on Fri- day last of Mrs Elizabeth Ann Jarrott wife of Mr Wm Sherritt, senior, of Socbarer, Man, The deceased lady was .aged 54 years 6 months' and • 28 days. She suffered from kidney disease, and had been sick about to year, during seven months of which she was confined to her bed. 1VIrs Sherritt was born in Stanley, Ont., on July 12th, 1861, and was the daughter of Mr and. Mrs John Jarrott, of Exeter, Ont,, both of wholes are living, as also are five sisters and three brothers, She is survived by her husband, six eons and two` daughter's. Will is on a farm adjoining home,. Albert in Vancouver, Jim farming three miles from the home, Agnes (Mrs Robt Hotham) of Rapid City, Wallace in the trenches in France, Lily (Mrs Ed Gibbs) of Wynyard, Sask., and Earl and Norman at home: Mrs Sherritt was married in 1875 and arrived in Winnipeg in 1878, She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in which she was an active worker. Always ready with advice and help for others, hospitable to a degree, she was held to the highest regard by friends and neighbors by whom she will be much missed. The funeral was held at the home on Sunday. Feb 6th, conducted by Rev Mr McNair, of McConnell, and formerly of Angnsville, . assisted by Mr Bailey.
