The Ladies' Aid of the Dashwood
Evangelical church was entertained at
the home of Mrs H Weigcnd last Fri-
day evening. A short program was re-
ndered, after which lunch was served.

A. Acheson sustained a fractured
ankle while playing hockey a few even-
ings ago.
Last Monday afternoon was observ-

were taken at the Town Hall. It was
also the anniversary of the serious fire
here some years 'ago.
Mr and Miss Pollock, of Pilot

Pte Willie Pratt and Pte Charlie

The result of the sparrow match
held by the boys here showed the
winning side ahead by 500. The
totalnumber of birds captured by
both sides was 2600. The losing side
is providing an oyster supper and a
taffy pull, which will be held at the
home of H Krueger next Wodnesnay
evening.
