West Lorne voted on the Hydro
13y.Laws on Tuesday and carried t1 am
by over 100 Majority.
It may be in place to explain ,hitt
tibe figures given in the money by-law
are esbiinafed, that is they an the
maximum or highest possible cost of
constructing the system in Zurich.
If it is found that not so much money
need be expended on the construction;
the cosb to the town will be correspond-
ingly less. And it also depends upon
the number of street lights which
would be installed in the village.
Now that Zurich ratepayers are
Kaiig to vuvo on Hydro, let them,
remember this:
That in every (dace voted on, the
by-laws have carried.
That towns that , haye used the
system for a year or mote are lnor,
than delighted with it. . Ask Cli,;,ion,
Sea:kith'or Goderich residents.
That the cost may seem a little
high at the outset, but as more cus-
tomers are added the system in time
will support itself.
That if other towns see the ad-
vantages of Hydro, should Zurich not
do likewise.
Arrangements are under way to
have a speaker address the residents of
Zurich on the hydro question the
first week in January.
