A LARGE LEMON -
Mrs R. R. Johnston, of the Domin-
ion House, has a lemon plant which
the most enthusiastic florist would feel
proud to possess. The plant is home
grown and stands about three feet high
and is in full blossom at present. It
has recently borne two large sized
lemons, one of which dropped off a few
days ago. This lemon is a wonder in
itself and if this frnit could be grown
in such large proportions as this single
oneethe lemon trust would soon be out
of business: The lemon weighs one
ponud and six ounces, and in circum-
ference measures fifteen inches one
way and thirteen and one half the
other way. Mrs. Johnston is justly
proud in the success she has had in
bringing this large lemon to matterity.
