their annual meeting in the Town
Hall on Monday afternoon with a fair
attedance. The system is in excellent
condition, the balance on hand after
paying all the 1914 accounts is over
$800. The system was extended eon-
siderably the past year and now has
about 450 subscribers. The managers
of the Zurich and the Dashwood
centrals have been hired for a year
and put on a straight salary, and they
have to keep the lines in repair, put
in new telephones, etc., without extra
charge except where the work exceeds
the use of more than two poles, when
extra will be allowed. The building
of another trunk line to Hensall was
fully discussed and the matter was
left in the hands of the township coun-
cil to deal with as they thought best;
