received from 423 members, to-
gether with special. reports from
prominent apiarists in different co-
unties. The quality' is reported
to be good, with agood average
yield in all parts. The Committee

What might have resulted in
a serious fire occured on Monday
noon at the home of Mr. George
Koeh in the kitchen, when a small
confiagaration broke out. Iri
some way, while Mrs. Koch was
outside, the ")coal: oil stove expl-
oded and set fire to curtains and
clothing .and as a result the en-
tireR anterior of the kitchen was
charree and ruined. Only for the
ready and prompt assistance of
the neighbors, who worked so
faithfully, the entire dwelling wo-
uld have been runined. Mr. and
Mrs. Koch wish to extend their
most sincere thanks to those who
so ;deligently helped them in their
hour -of distress.
