Now, Mr. Editor, in my opinion,
a proper drainage system is just
as important, . in fact'"of nmuch
more importance than sidewalks
and sprinkling, as the proper dr-
ainage of any village or townwttia-
out a doubt affects the health:
of the community. The drainage
system as it is at present in Zurich
may have been good enough fif-
teen or twenty years ago, • but',
the drains, in theft' present shapes'
are in a very 'unsatisfactory con-
