On Tuesday morning a very nu usual thing happened in the & B. northbount train when John McLeod, a returned veteran 47 years old, who had been a ,patient at the Byron Sanatorium, London, cut his throat with a razor and causing death. He had received leave of absence from the Inst- itution nstitution for a couple of days to go and see his father, his only relative at Tiverton. Shortly af,q ter leaving London McLeod loci: -k ed himself in a washroom and 'it was not until blood had commen- ced to stream out under the sill that the train crew became sus- picious and brbke in the door.They found that McLeod was dead. and a rigor Was found lying on the floor.
