GRAND BEND
On Thursday of last week Grand
Bend lost one of its most highly
respected residents in the person
of George Sheritt who died at the
age of 84 years, 9 months and 22
days. The deceased had been ail-
ing for about six months. All his
life the deceased had been an act-
ive worker in the Methodist church
and Sunday School. He is surviv-
ed by his widow, three daughters
and two sons; Mrs. Mollard, in the
West; Mrs. Nell, of McGi'.livray and
Miss Millie, Thornton and Clifford
at home. The funeral was held
Saturday, conducted by Rev. Wil-
liams of Corbett, interment in the
Grand Bend cemetery.
