ZURICH AGRICULTURAL
SOCIETIVE MEETING,
The annual meeting of the Zur-
ich Agricultural Society was held
on Tuesday. rThe Treasurer's fin-
ancial report was presented and
the society, in in fair Iinanical st-
anding. It was decided to again
secure departmental judges for
horses, cattle, sheep, -swine and
poultry Wire crates for exhib-
iting poultry will also be secured
for the next fall fair.
The following officers were el-
ected ;-President, E. P. Klopp;
1st. Vice. -Pres., J. Decher, Jr.;
2nd. Vice -Pres,. J P. Rau. Dir-
ectors, A. :Reichert, Dr. A. J. Mac-

enter the Society in the combined
•standing field crop and threshed
grain competition with Bain -
oat. This corupetition should
bring out a , large number of en -
as the prizes to be awarded
are high. The first' prize is $75.00
