• The annual meeting of the Zur-
ich Library Associationwas h eld
in the Ladies' Hall, Zurich on Fri
du.3=, evening last. Those present
manifested a deep interest in the
welfare of the library and arran-
gements were made to greatly en-
largen the membership list and
secure funds for the purchase of
nevi books. The matter of
moving the library to a more
Central location was brought up
and if suitable quarters can be
obtained it will be moved. The

after .an extended length of il:ness
with Carec.nia of the stomach. .De-
ceased h:id been last summer for
,some time at St. Josehp's Hospital
London, taking treatments for her
trouble, but nothing could be
done. And she passed peacefully
away last _Thursday. She was of
a kind. lo': ing disposition and liked
by all who came in contact with
the late
her. Her. first husband,
Mr. August Masse pre -deceased her
some twenty years ago. About
fifteen years ago she was united
in ms,rriage to Mr. David Plante,
who with het family with the first
husband. survive to mourn her ro;ii
They are as follows;—Peter and
Ceril Masse of Detroit; Mrs. Reis
Jeffrey and Mrs. Fred. E Duc'h-
arine of the Sauble Line, Hat/ Tp;
Paul- Masse of the Bronson Lige,
Line, Hay; Mrs. Hecter Laporte,
and Mr Sanies Masse, of Stanley,
Tp., and Mr. Joseph Masse of
Windsor. The funeral was held
on Saturday. to tole R. 0, cemetery,
Drysdale, Rev, Father A. .A.
