ZURICH SCHOLO FAIR
What is undoubtedly the gre-
atest event of the season next to
the Pall Fair was the School Fair
held on the local Agricultural
grounds and building on Friday
Sept. 16th. The day was an ideal
ane for the occasion, with a few
threats of rain in the afternoon,
thesr however did not let loose
and the entire day's program was
carried to ,he finish. The out-
door exhibits were fairly well rep-
resented by the young agricultural
enthusiasts. These classes how-
ever caald be much improved up-
on by the pupils of the mai seh-
ools, if they were urged and en-
couraged more by their teachers
arid parents to prepare livestock
and agricultural products early in
the season and be ready and wait-
ing when the date of the School
Fair arrive%
1 The exhibits in the indoor clas-
ses were unexcelled both in qual-
ity and in number. It would in-
deed be hard to decide which. were
the best display of exhibits, pos-
sibly •the nice appetizing baking
dliplay of -pies and cakes, would
win many a ones declaim) by the
stomach's route, At any rateil
they were the finest lot we have
seen for some time. The base -
bat Matth between the school
boys and a picked married mens'

as an interesting number.
p
for the boys were ,
Lennis O'Brien and Gerald Bedard,
Cli!.". men .1Iarry Zapfe and Vic-
tor Deiehert: The Womens' Inst-
itute bad a booth on the grounds
ands served dainty refreshm,ents.
And sliming up, everybody rep-
orts it a very educational as well
as a pleasant event.
