This is evidenee that more education is the coming slogan of our generation. The tinge is fast coming when the, once so roomy,; schoolhouse of Zurich will not be large enough, aa teachers of highh form's will be demanded. Labor Day passed off' rather quiet, especially in Cue morning when torrents" of rain fell en the ::arth andrivers of water were gushing down the roadsides, and with it went all hopes for the big celebration so well planned and id:vertised. We are told by outsiderst hat a fins day would have seen the biggest crowd in Zurich's history on such an oceas- ion, as large throngs were all ready to ego to Zurich in the morn- ing, when nature let the rain pour. in the afternoon a considerable crowd gathered anxoius to ha\ e :o'ne excitement. This was being supplied by after several,at '_empts to get an outside ball team to come and give the locals a gatno when' at last Kirkton agreed to come, this game was played at five o'clock and was witnessed `#y' a good crowd. In the evening the concert i ncert was the main attract- ion and was also well attencle0: This program was of the highest order as the boy comedian and violinist was sure a wonder.
