Line is probably the biggest hus-
tler in this community having fin-
ished harvesting and threshing his
season's crop, last Friday, July 29,
Mr. Erb, the..yeterari thresher,with
his new outfit, threshed the crop
very successfully.
Civic Holdiay on Monday pas-
sed off rather quiet in' the village
as there were no sports here. In
the afternoon a great many of the
ball fans accompanied our team
to Clinton where they took part
in the tournament and won as
usual.
We .alight make mention of the
success of the Entrance class of
Z. P. S. as in last week's issue of
the Herald. As tens wrote ! at
this exam.' and were all successful;
five passing with honors. This is
certainly both credit and honor to
both teacher, and pupils.
30,000 FARM LABORERS
It is estimated that to harvest
this year's crop in Manitoba, Sas-
katchewan; nad Alberta, it will
require approximately 30,000 men.
