Owing to the small supply of coal
that, came through during 'ltirte sum-
mer months We have been able to
mkae only part deliveries fa� -

some have substituted with wood
and coal substitutes other ftthanthe

one old Summer list it is hard for
us to tell just who now requires
coal and what quantity is desired.
Owing to the above conditions
and commencing on Dec. 16th, all
previous order lists will be cancel-
led and we will open a new order
list so that it will now be necessary
for ail customers to enter a new
order for any coal,' they now .de-
sire for winter delivery.
Orders of course, are aece;pted
subject to our being able to ot.tain

What might have been a ser-
ious accident happened one day
last week, when the team of Mr.
J. Decher, Jr., became beyond
control in front of the Walper
House, and Mr. Decher then qui-
ckly headed them off towards the
hotel sheds and in doing so the
wagon came" in contact with Mr.
Jos. Gascho, Sr. Mail Courier of
Route three, who Was just return=
ing. The latter's closed buggy
being overturned, and Mr. Gascho
mansged to crawl out, and for-
tunately no damage or injury was
done.

Owing' to the unfavorable we-
ather the Box Social which was to
have been held at Goshen school
on Thursday was postponed till
Friday evening, when a good cw-
owd was present and a pleasant
evening was spent. tThe proce-
eds amounted to over $60.00 for
which rnuch credit is due to the
auctioneer, Mr. Oscar Klopp, who
disposed of the boxes at good
prices.
A special service was held in
the Goshen Anglican church on
Good Friday. A good crowd was
present and a very helpful ser"'-
ice..was conducted by the Rev. Mr.
Pitts. (
A special Easter service was
held it the Goshen Methodist -ch-
urch on Sunday in the interest of
the Woman's Missionary Society.
An Easter thank -offering was tak-
en which amounted' to 09.00.

Misses Annie and Pearl Steph-
enson have returned home after
spending three weeks with friends
at Marlette, Mich. Mrs. J. Ste-
phenson Sr., who has spent the
winter at Marlette also returned
with them.
