in the -Blake Presbyterian Church
were a decided success. There

morning and in the evening, the

The Stratford jail which is sup-
posed to be the cheapest board-
ing,house in Christendom has at
last been struck by the high cost
of living. The cost per prisoner
has steadily mounted until now it
actually takes 20 9-10 cents , per
day to keep round and plump one
husky malefactor. They should cut
out the cantaloup sundaes and
fricassee chicken. -Exchange.
It is rumored that the authorit-
ies at Ottawa are foregoing a holt
for the tax dodger which may be
