June goes out with a temperat-
ure over eighty, but compared to
last year, it was much cooler mo-
nth. The mean is 66 degrees, whi
ch is 3 above the average. Last
year the mean was 72. The rain-
fall was 2.88, being 12 above aver-
age. Our hottest day was June
10th, the only day the mercury
climbed over ninety. The coolest
was June 23rd, when the theromet-
er registered as low as 46, and we
had 224 hours of sunshine,
In looking over the Entrance and
Jr. Graduatuon examination rep-
orts published in last week's ilssue.
we notice the pupils of Z. P. Scho
of and the various schools in Hay
.Township that passed, were very
numerous who received honors.
And we therefore take great ple-
asure in congratulating those who.
were so succussful, and feel thta
much gratitude is due teachers,
twho took so much pains in their
work. And just a word to those Zurich
that tried so hard, yet failed, Crediton
don't he discouraged but "try and Clinton
try again you'll succeed at'last." i. er3ericio,,
