We have been advised by citizens
that all the Entrance pupils who have
tried their exams of the Zuricn school
have been successful in passing whirli
bespeaks well for both pupils and
their worthy teacher, Miss t?. : 1.
Kalbfleisch, who has spared no efforts
;in the development of this rather
difficulty step into the' High School.
Not alone has she been successful in
getting all her pupils through the
Entrance Exams., but three of these
pupils have captured the Hay Town-
ship Memorial Scholarships, Miss
Beatrice Gascho taking first. Mi
Quimbe Hess, second, and Miss Mar-
garet Haberer third. We are indeed
sorry that we have not the entire
report at hand to publish this week.
This is probably due to the change Evangelical Lutheran
of public school Inspectors which
took place last year, as he does not
send a copy of the report to this
office, as the former Inspector, Mr.
Tom did in past years. And we are
almost tired of walking to the phone
and answering calls of anxious peo-
ple who await these results but we
are unable to give them the required
