Mr 'Cyrus' Schoch, of Blair, was
a visitor here over Sunday,
Mir, and Mrs. Alf. Moritz and
children, of Guelph, spent Sunday
and Monday 'with relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Dahms, who.
spent the helidays at Hanover, re-
turned on Monday, and Mr. Dahms
agaiin took charge of 'Zurich Pub-

Seaforth, for $4,300. 'Mr. Goven-
lock has removed to Vancouver.
The Women's Institute will hold
their monthly meeting at the home
of Mre, (lir.) Campbell on Wed-
nesday, Sept. 10th. All ladies are
invited to attend. -
LATE ARNOLD HEIDEMAN
A very sad death took place last
Thursday, when Mr. Arnold Heide-
man passed away at the home of
;v his brother Egbert. The deem-
- sed had been in failing health for
(some time and although specialists
a were called in and everything pos-
t Bible was done for him, it was of
o no avail and he gradually became
weaker and last Thursday after-
noon peacefully ,went to sleep.
-• He was only thirty years of age
and spentt his whole Life in Zurich.

sness and he had made a success of
s, this. He was highly esteemed by

EARN BURNED
Last Friday evening fire of un-
knowe origin destroyed the barn
of Mrs. W.Coleman, a fete miles
east: of 'Zurich, to-gether with the
season's crop, four horses and oth
er live stock and implements. The
loss iIs a heavy one as the inset
alnce was not very high.
