RE -INVEST WAR BONDS
INTEREST IN WAR -SAVINGS
STAMPS
Holders of Canadian War Bonds
in Canada will draw nearly 0$0,-
000,000 in interest this year. What
will they do with it? If they are
visa they will reives tna large por
tion of it in War Savings Stamp$.
It its of the utmost importance to.
the country that they should do
so.
Of the more than 1,000,000 hold-
ers 01 Canadian War Bonds, pro-
bably not 10,000 were owners of Ca-
nadian government securities be-
fore the outbreak of war. Nine-
ty-five per rent of them had never
invested in securities of any kind
The great majority probably -were
not regular savers.
Ii they do not re -invest in War
Saving Stamps at least a portion
of their War Bonds interest, there•
is grave danger that they may be
lost to the large army of savers,
wh.i;eh it is desired to recruit inn
Canada. This would be a mis-
fortune both to themselves and to
themselves and to the Dominion.
The burdens following the 'War
so heavy that no person can aff-
ord to waste money. Those who
do so take a long ehanee. Not
only should people save, but they
should also out their savings in-
to a security of unquestioned val
tee that will pay wc'1 lain 1 they
