htils fe.low• of chrea years, is all
ready for a good home, andwilt
be worth asking for. Four +chit-
dre"n have ec•eii made wards by.
Magistrates, Lwo boys and two
girls; on eoi the latter already pl-
aced in a fasiee home. One child
came from iluilett township, one
from Morris and two from God-
erich town. The matron of the
Shelter, Miss Bentley, is making
the bets of everything, as is evid-
ent by the comfort and happiness
of the children, and any contrib-
utions to the home will be well
applied,
The following contributions are
gratefully acknowledged since
last meeting; R. Harding, Howick,
$2; Miss Lottie Bentley, $2; W. T.
Pellow, Mrs. Robert Doak and Mrs,
D. Millar, $1 each; Mrs. Win. Co-
ats, $5, Mrs. A. Halliday, basket
of apples, jar of fruit and pickles;
Mrs. J. Jenkins, beans; !Irs. J.

gham, $10; Clinton town, $1Z01
Exeter, $10; Seaforth town $10;
Grey township $10; A new sewing
coaching has been installed as a
necessity in the work, and a mus-
ical instrumetn, either piano or
organ, would be a most accept-
able donation, the matron being
able to interest and entertained the
children.
Foster homes are wanted for
small boys, also for a baby boy,
and for a healthy babyg oirl one
year old and one about two mon-
ths old.
It would be impossibiat o even
mlention, not to go into details; the
separate cases dealt with at his
meeting. Some of thein are pit-
iable and sad, and one almost re-
volting, and all showing the great
need of this charitable and soul -
saving work, If the cases which
have been dealt with in th epos'
five yeFirs alone, arising in this
county were simply classified and
described, they would he a surpri
se and a revelation to the people
of Huron Probably every Munie-
ipilaty in the county has furnished
one or more of these cases; and
th eineeds of th ework will doubt-
less continue. But if, to offset
this, a list of the children and their
present conditions and prospects
were given. the valise and benifits
of this method of dealing 'with un-
fortuunate and neglected child-
ren would be demonstrated in a.
delightful manner. If you would
like to hep in this worthy cause

Don't bother to prepare the mix-
ture: you can get this famous old
recipe improved by the addition of
other ingredients at a small cost, all
ready for use. It is called Wyeth's
Sage and. Sulphur Compound. This can
always be depended upon to bring
back the natural color and lustre of
your hair.
Lverybody uses "Wyeth's" Sage and
Sulphur Compound Crow because It
darkens so naturally and evenly that
nobody can tell it has been applied.
You simply dampen a sponge or soft
brush with it and draw this through
the hair, taking one small strand'at a
time; by morning the gray hair, bas
disappeared, arid after another appli-
cetion it becomes beautifully dark and
appears glossy and lustrous. This
ready -to -use preparation is a delight -
toilet requisite for those v,tho de-
sire dark hair and a youthful appear-
anee. It le not intended tor the curt3,
