On Wednesday last, Chas. Cann
of town met with an unfortunate
accident while assisting his ''son
of the Thames Rd. with the 'hay-
ing. He was ,in the meow and in
soim i way lost his ballance and

For the second time in less than
a week, two autos crashed at the
north .ed of Exeter. A nne:v Reo
sedan from London, driving north
on its way to Bayfield,,cralsahed
into a touring car driven by two
ladies from Stratford on their way
to Grand Bend. The cars jammed
and ran into the barn on the corner
breaking the 'side of the barn.One
of the ladies suffered a broken
collar bone and shoulder blade,•
while the 'other • received a bad
scalp! wound;. IThe touring car
was badly wrecked, while the se-
dan only partly elamaged.
