ening, when Bill Kyle and. a Mr.
Neigh of Kippen were travelling
towards TIens ill. The two boys
stopped at Zurich when passing
through <Ind boalstied of coming
from the Bend to St. JoSeph, a
distance of over seven miles in ten
minutes which is too fast for any
car. However we see the result of
such speeding. Fortunately no .
One was seriously hurt, but the car
looks a complete wreck.

CHURCH NOTES
The Service's of Emanuel Ev-
angelical Church, Zurich continues
as usual daring the vacation sea-
son. Last Sunday there were a-
1,out 150 in the morning service and
nearly 200 ;in the evening with a
fine attendance in Sunday School.

GOLDEN WEDLING
On July1.5.5, 1876 Miss Louise &I -
ler was married to Mr. Wm. Klopp
!at the honi:-.s. of her father, Mr. M
Zeller; Zurich. After living in
Zurich for 'some five years, they
1111r:2d to the old homestead. Af-
ter many years of successful Dim-
ino', they moved to the farm ,on
which Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Klapp
now reside 'and remained therefor
about five years. The following
eight years ,were spent in Strate.
ford. Later thayreturned to
Zurich, where they are living at pr-
esent.
Thuls fifty years of wedded life
has been spent and consequently
the Golden Wedding anniversary
was celebrated last Sunday atthe
home- of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Klopp
