Peerless Galvanized fence has
been used by the Ontario. Gown
ernment on Highway construct
ion in various parts. of Ontario
as have thousands of our gates The knot
in our Peerless fence is one of the few knots
which the r+aiilway coo panies will accept fon.
the following reasons,;
The strength of the knot isin its double cramp, the line and,
stay wires are -crimped: to J It into each other in a socket mak
ing a knot that is non-slippable in, each ,direeti+on. This
feature alone is. of vital importance.
The whole knot is of tha sante guage as, the rest of the
fence thereby guaranteeing nsa week spots when a real test
conies.
The whole knot in the Peerlesa fence is of the same hard
wire whereas many other knots consist of ,+a piece of soft' and
smaller wire wrapped around an upright. The Peerless knot
Jbeing the perfect part of " a circle does not injure the wires
in any way and allows the air to circulate through and dry
any moisture on the wires thereby removing the first cause of
runt. The knot in a fence is put to the 'severest tests byl
railway and highway officials. The Peerless knot leas with,
stood all these este and has proven entirely satisfactory iii
eery way.
