The nice and warm weather the past week certainly has brought a- long an abundance of growth, a nice shower of rain would also help mat- erially. May 24th, Empire Day on Tuesday passed of very quietly in town, as most of the people were out some- where else enjoying the day, as the weatherman gave us ideal 'weather just warm enough to be nice. Some citizens were at the lake fishing with little success, others spent the day at their summer homes, some at Mit- chell, London and other points. Mr. A. 0.
