with the former's sister, Mrs. E. E.

The many friends of Mr. Robert
Adams, 14th, concession, are pleased
to learn that he is improving from
his recent serious illness.
Mrs. Jos. Wickens of Ingersoll, is
spending a few weeks with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hey, Sr. Sony
to report that Mrs. Hey has not been
enjoying her usual good health the
last- while.
Mr. Edward Haberer of the east
end of town is building a fine brick
addition to his nice home which will
give the family . more convenience.
In the same neighborhood, Mr. Henry
Flaxbard is also erecting a new kit-
chen in addition to his home.
Mr. Herb. Mousseau has improved
the appearance of his lawn between
the house and garage with a nice
rock garden. These new kind of nat-
ure beauty spots are becoming quite
popular and more general recently
and are very attractive at many
places.
Mr. William Thiel of town has be-
en awarded the contract of carrying
pamail on Route .3, out of Zurich,
th,duties commencing in July. This
Route w;as •formerly under contract
with Mr. P. Ravelle who has since
moved to Grand Bend, but since that
time Mr. Norman Gascho has been
the carrier.
