SPRING BLO'W'S IN ON MONDAY Monday marked the beginning of the spring season, and it looked any- thing but the beginning of this, al- ways welcome season. During the day a heavy east wind was blowing, which was accompanied by some snow which was then strengthened as the day advanced, and by evening or when darkness set in,, the wind shift- ed to a more northerly digestion, and talk about a blizzard,, we sure exper- ienced one. High snow banks were soon piled up at places where this winter hardly any snow had previous- ly been seen. By eleven o'clock in ane evening the roads were practical- ly impassaole for the auto, and a goodly number of cars who were out of town for the evening were either stranded or just got in under much diiricilty. One car of town who was at Hensall for the evening, on the re - aim trip, in the blinding snow storm slipped over into the roadside, but was returned home in solely in its abode on Tuesday. The transport truck of G. J. Thiel was on its re- turn from, Hamilton with a load of wire, and is stranded in the banks north of.
