A Mild Fait?
Sailers,,at the Goderich harbor pre-
dict mild;., pleasant weather for this
`autumn;, They. base their forecast on
the fact that on the 22nd' of this
September, the day which ushers' in
ieeh fall, season, a warm south breeze
pyevailad as the sun entered the eq-
:umoctial` point. The sailors maintain
this is an unfailing sign that mild
weather is 'to follow for three months
and . the fishermen are laying their
plans acocrdingly. So far they have
teen .right, as thus far this fall the
'weather could not have been more
ideal.

resulting from a chill aged 81 years..
He died without attaining the great
objective of his life, on which he'
had spent huge sums from a fortune

lee won the epitaph, "The World's;

as he always called the trophy sym-
